Sticks and Stones may Break our Bones is a choreographic duet for 2 men. As they try to step into the shoes of the lovers that are still being stoned in many countries. Where there’s execution for adultery or the sexual preference, a punishment so alienated from the Western world. They try to step into the mental state of living the final hours in this process, and translate this into physicality. A hymn and a light on all the people who all had to endure this.

 

The voices of the people at the market, is being depicted live by Stefanie Janssen.
