MUSIC

JASON GWEN is breaking into the music scene since 2017 with a start at Paradiso, Amsterdam –with his vocals on universal topics that needs a spotlight. On how do we live now, and how can we redivide the world? An immense addiction for the drums and the bass, and high energy shows that pushes you to move. From this season on he will be touring around with his newly formed band: TOO MUCH, a series of exceptional rotating dancers, all with their undeniable individual characters. Meet Mitomi, Nando, and so many more to be announced soon. The work is being supported by the Dutch Funds for the Performing Arts: International Promotion.

On December 24, 2021 he released his debut full length album titled TOO MUCH. No, it’s not a Christmas album. Expect more high energy Electronics, with a clear undertone, and dirty over saucing of Hip Hop. He’s currently working on his third record.

He had his debut in the music scene in 2017, thanks to, and at Paradiso and the Milkshake Festival in the same weekend. Since then, he has played at stages in the likes of Amsterdam Dance Event, Dutch Design Week Music, Pride Islas Canarias Spain, Central Studios in Canada, and a delayed slot at Zwarte Cross. Besides music, Jason is also part of the acting cast of Erik de Bruyn’s GRENSLANDERS on AMAZON PRIME. This season he will be releasing his first written and directed short film, THE FOLLOWING.
